Faira is the Folk-Experimental projekt of singer, guitarist and costume designer Sophia Spies (DE).
The self-taught guitarist, bassist and singer creates her own very intimate version of Folk that is complex, demanding and far beyond the ordinary. Faira’s impulsive voice and the unusual harmonies sound remarkably somber and vulnerable at the same time.
After nearly one year of not playing any live set, the 30-year old is eager to create a new sound and maybe even a whole new stage design during these 5 days at Stuenzi Residency.

Wie geht es eigentlich der Generation Z? Auflösen aller Kategorien und Definitonen ist gr8 und macht Spass, in Therapie gehen ist stylelife aber auch klar, dass sie die Angst nicht ewig stillt. Beamt*innen rennen zu schnell.
Elektroakustische Improvisation, die zwischen non-linearem Drone und freien Noise Ausrutschern schwebt. Wenn sich die Beamtin traut, erklingen murmelnd post-esoterische Texte, die sie sich manchmal selbst nicht abkauft. Kötzeln vor dem Gig — Sie sind echt*e Musik*er*innen*!
